Hey there, I’m Katja from Munich!
I got my PhD in Computer Science and work full-time as a data scientist at a big company. Born and raised in the Siberian city of Irkutsk in Russia, I’ve since had the opportunity to live, study and work in several cities in Germany. I’ve also spent some time doing research in Tokyo and fell in love with this city and the Japanese culture.
Apart from my work, I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures. This comes together with my passion for photography and documenting memories. In this blog, I want to share my experiences with you and show you the world the way I see it through the lens of my camera.
Why tokidoki? It means sometimes in Japanese, the language I’m still trying to master. It’s a funny word and it reflects the frequency of my posting to this blog, since, you know, I’m not a full-time blogger.
Got something to say? Feel free to drop me a line in any of the connected social networks. I’m fluent in Russian, English and German, so don’t hesitate to use any of these languages.
Cheers ♥ Katja
